Fighter: Eldrite Vanguard

Warriors who integrate Essari eldrite technology into their combat techniques, becoming living weapons enhanced by ancient artifice.

Fighter: Eldrite Vanguard

Fighters who follow the path of the Eldrite Vanguard have learned to integrate remnants of Essari technology into their very being. These warriors bond with eldrite-powered artifacts, turning their bodies into living weapons enhanced by ancient artifice. Where others fear the unstable nature of eldrite technology, Vanguards embrace it, becoming the bridge between Essari innovation and modern warfare.

3rd Level: Eldrite Integration

Your training allows you to bond with and channel eldrite technology through your equipment and body.

Powered Arsenal. When you hit a creature with a melee or ranged weapon attack, you can channel eldrite energy to deal extra force damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Essari Durability. You gain resistance to lightning and force damage, as eldrite conduits reinforce your body against energy discharge.

Systems Interface. You can communicate telepathically with willing creatures within 30 feet through eldrite resonance. You also gain darkvision out to 60 feet as your eyes adapt to eldrite energy signatures.

7th Level: Advanced Integration

Your connection to eldrite technology deepens, allowing for more sophisticated applications.

Energy Conversion. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to store that energy in your eldrite systems. The next weapon attack you make deals additional force damage equal to half the damage you just took (maximum additional damage equal to your Fighter level).

Tactical Interface. You can take the Help action as a bonus action, as your eldrite systems provide tactical data to allies. Additionally, you have advantage on Initiative rolls.

10th Level: Overcharge Protocols

You have learned to store and channel significant amounts of eldrite energy.

Stored Power. When you hit a creature with an attack, you can store eldrite energy within your systems. On your next attack before the end of your next turn, you can release that energy to deal an additional 1d8 force damage.

System Optimization. Your eldrite integration enhances your equipment. Choose one weapon you're proficient with. While wielding that weapon, you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. You can change this weapon choice when you finish a long rest.

You can use Stored Power a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

15th Level: Integrated Arsenal

Your mastery of eldrite technology allows you to modify your equipment in real-time.

Adaptive Configuration. As a bonus action, you can reconfigure your eldrite systems to gain one of the following benefits until the end of your next turn:

  • Your weapon attacks have a 10-foot reach
  • Your ranged attacks ignore half and three-quarters cover
  • Your melee attacks can target creatures within 5 feet of your original target

Defensive Matrix. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by 1d6 + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

18th Level: Vanguard Protocol

You represent the pinnacle of eldrite-enhanced warriors.

Combat Superiority. Your Stored Power feature now deals 2d8 additional force damage, and you regain one expended use whenever you roll initiative.

System Overload. Once per long rest, you can activate all your eldrite systems simultaneously for 1 minute. While overloaded:

  • Your weapon attacks deal maximum damage on the first damage die rolled
  • You have advantage on all attack rolls
  • Your movement speed increases by 20 feet
  • You can use Adaptive Configuration without expending a bonus action
