East of Tharn lies a chain of large islands known as the Skalls—mostly barren wastelands where little thrives. For decades, the Surveyors' Guild maintained an outpost here, the farthest reach of known civilization. From this base, what little knowledge of Tharn, Heskin, and Ingil exists was gathered.
Twenty years ago, communication stopped. No messages. No reports. Magical attempts to reach the outpost failed without explanation. Survey teams sent to investigate never returned. After a decade of silence and loss, no one has been sent in the last ten years.
The Skalls stand as a grim reminder that some places in Thaedros swallow those who venture too far. Whether the outpost fell to disaster, hostile forces, or something worse, no one knows. And no one has dared to find out.
