North of Tharn lies Heskin, a vast continent split between southern jungle and sprawling desert that dominates the middle and northern reaches. The transition is abrupt—dense vegetation gives way to arid wastelands where survival becomes a test of endurance.
Like Tharn, Heskin resists exploration. The jungle is nearly as deadly as its southern neighbor, and the desert presents its own lethal challenges: scorching heat, sandstorms, and scarcity of water. Expeditions into the interior rarely return, and those that do bring back little more than warnings.
Remote surveys suggest the desert conceals ruins—possibly Essari, possibly older. But distance, danger, and the sheer inhospitality of the land have kept them out of reach.
